Meet Our Founders
Chapel of Fire Ministries was founded by a husband-and-wife team, Pastor Chidi Okorie and Melanie Okorie, with a shared calling to serve communities with compassion, dignity, and faith in action. Guided by a deep commitment to God and people, the founders bring together lived experience, service-minded leadership, and a heart for those often overlooked or underserved.
The ministry’s vision is rooted in meeting both practical and spiritual needs providing food, clothing, prayer, mentorship, and restoration-focused outreach while fostering hope and long-term transformation. What makes Chapel of Fire Ministries unique is its holistic approach, addressing immediate challenges while also investing in prevention while providing purpose, and personal growth, through training and resources.
A core focus of the ministry includes prevention and restoration efforts aimed at breaking cycles that lead to incarceration, as well as offering faith-based encouragement, mentorship, and life-direction support for individuals and families impacted by the justice system. Through prison prevention education, mentoring, and reentry-focused outreach. Chapel of Fire Ministries promotes accountability, healing, and positive decision-making before, during, and after justice involvement.
At the heart of the ministry are values of faith, integrity, compassion, service, and community. Every program reflects the belief that lives can be restored, cycles can be broken, and hope can be reignited when people are met with love, consistency, and opportunity.
Through this site, visitors can learn about our programs, partner with us in service, support our mission, and walk alongside us as we work to uplift individuals, families, and communities one life at a time.

Empowering Communities

Holistic Support Services Available
Dorcas Clothing
Inspired by the life of Dorcas in Acts 9, Dorcas’ Closet provides clothing support to individuals and families in need. Through compassionate giving, we help restore dignity, confidence, and self-worth, ensuring that no one is left without the basic essentials needed to move forward in life.
Daily Bread Pantry
Rooted in Matthew 6:11, Daily Bread Pantry provides food assistance to those facing hardship. Through in-person distribution, food vouchers, and delivery support when available, we help meet immediate needs while offering care, hope, and encouragement to individuals and families.
Paul & Silas Prison Ministry
Inspired by Acts 16, Paul & Silas Prison Ministry brings prayer, worship, and the Word of God to those who are incarcerated. We visit correctional facilities to offer spiritual support, encouragement, and hope, believing that no chain can silence praise and no life is beyond God’s transforming grace.
Rise & Restore Youth Mentorship
Rise & Restore Youth Mentorship is a prevention-focused program serving at-risk youth through mentorship, character development, and purpose-driven guidance. We work to reach young people before cycles of incarceration take hold, helping them discover identity, direction, and hope for a better future.
Mountain Top Prayer Line
Mountain Top Prayer Line is a dedicated prayer ministry providing daily encouragement, intercession, and spiritual support. Through live prayer calls and broadcast prayer sessions, we come together to seek God, stand in faith, and lift one another during times of need, believing that prayer brings strength, peace, and breakthrough.
